Four stars for this Hotel is quite a overstatement
Lage und Umgebung des Hotels (Note: 3):
The Hotel is situated very close to the center of Melliah with a variety of shops and restaurants in walking distance. As it is located in a branch of the main street the traffic is almost not recognizable.
Service des Hotels (Note: 3):
The staff is obviously very friendly, but you sometimes have the feeling that this is very artificially, because when it comes to complaints or you try to change the room you don't feel very comfortable.
The worst thing in my eyes was that when I asked the receptionist where I could put in my feedback form because I could not find the promised feed-back-box, she said that she would take it.
When I looked around before leaving the door, she began to read my feed-back-form.
Gastronomie des Hotels (Note: 4):
). There were two occasions where I had to spit out the food, because it tasted rotten. The variations of the dinner were small. The tables were not whisked for the whole five days. After guests left, new dishes were put on the table immediately; therefore the tables were sticking and dirty. The cook greets everyone with shaking hands, which is indeed a nice gesture, but not very sterile. You could not use any salt shaker because the salt was wet. All over the dinner food is not bad, but it really slightly changes. You have the feeling that you eat almost the same every evening.
The sausage in the morning looks not very natural, as same as the juices they offer. The butter is a mixture of cheap fats and the mashed eggs almost swim in some kind of fluid (might be a mixture of water and fat).
Die Zimmer des Hotels (Note: 3):
The room was equipped with furniture (not my taste) and a tiny TV, which did not work properly, means only 4 channels with bad quality. The chairs were so heavy that you could barely lift them around, which results that everybody pushes them over the tiled floor, which is a really loud noise and very annoying in such a light built building, especially at night. The safe was attached to the cupboard shelf, so everybody could take the safe with him easily.
Empfehlungen und Infos:
You have to pay a charge for everything you need extra. Safe (which is only attached to the cupboard-shelf (very SAFE)) costs 5 Euro for one day, 7 for 2, 10 for 3, 12 for 4, 14 for 5 to 7 days and so on... which was a normal price for my point of view. Wi-Fi (which didn't worked in our hotel room was 4€ one hour 6€ for 6 and 12€ for 12 hours. The promised one hour of free internet did not work. This is quite heavy in my eyes.
